Become a private equity professional:
NREP Transactions Internship 2019
NREP is a leading pan-Nordic Private Equity Real Estate firm combining focused investment strategies and active asset management to achieve superior risk-adjusted returns
Our 150 professionals across the Nordics manage EUR 4 billion in assets – typical background for our transactions team members is top-tier management consulting or investment banking
We are now offering internships of 3-4 months to 3-4 motivated students during 2019 and early 2020 to support the continued growth of our Helsinki office
NREP, previously known as Nordic Real Estate Partners, was founded in 2005 and has since raised eleven funds. We invest across all real estate segments in all Nordic countries from our offices in Helsinki, Stockholm, Copenhagen and Oslo. We are constantly challenging the status quo of the industry by developing new real estate products to enrich people’s lives. In 2017 Preqin ranked NREP as the most consistently outperforming real estate investment manager globally. Investors in our funds are leading pension funds, university endowments and other institutional investors from Europe, Americas and Asia. NREP is fully owned by its eleven partners.
The internship consists mostly of supporting the Finnish transactions team, composed of two partners and eight investment professionals, in sourcing and executing investments and divestments as well as developing new business opportunities for NREP. Independent projects are possible depending on the background and skills of the intern. The internship experience will be valuable to anyone considering a career in private equity, investment management or real estate. Timing and working hours can be tailored to suit studies.
We are looking for motivated, fun colleagues who are both business-minded and diligent. A successful candidate has completed 2-4 years of university studies, with a focus in business, finance, investment management or quantitative studies. Fluent written and spoken English and experience with Excel and PowerPoint are further requirements.
Please submit your application including a single-page cover letter, CV and grade transcript to firstname.lastname@example.org by 14th of January 2019. Any possible questions related to the internship can be sent to Ilkka Salminen (email@example.com).
