Carnegie Investment Banking works with advisory services within Corporate Finance and offers on yearly basis an internship programme with good prospects for full-time employment. The internship programme runs over different periods of the year at the Helsinki office. You will have the opportunity to become a solid part of the Finnish Corporate Finance team for 3-6 months. The application period for internship programmes running in January 2019 – December 2019 are open with deadline for applications on November 14th.

The internship programme gives you valuable opportunities to network while gaining industrial experience by working with senior team members on relevant projects. You will also be expected to work independently on given tasks in order to boost your personal development. Early on in the internship, you will be engaged in projects regarding mergers and acquisitions (M&A) as well as initial public offerings and other capital market transactions (including both ECM and DCM transactions). You will work in a fast-paced environment where curiosity, ambition and diversity are regarded as enriching qualities as well as necessities to achieve superior results.
We are looking for applicants that have, as of the start date of the internship, finished at least two years of studies in financial economics or other relevant subjects while maintaining a strong academic track record. Studies abroad and/or previous experience from the financial services industry are considered an advantage, but not a requirement. In addition, we value responsibility taking team-players with a genuine interest to learn more about investment banking.
Expected work tasks:
- Analysis of companies and industries
- Company valuation and financial modelling
- Producing project and marketing materials, including investor presentations, prospectuses and other documents
- Contact with client and other advisers
